Since the launch of the Couture House in 1987, the Christian Lacroix style has been unique, exuberant, colourful and baroque. His clothes, beloved of celebrities, socialites and famously Absolutely Fabulous's Edina were celebrated for their their raucous colours, couture elements and fairytale style. On his website, Lacroix wrote that couture was "crazy, contradictory, unpredictable and, above all, stronger than me". Lacroix's collaboration with Desigual is more wearable... but still strong, still full of luxury, colour, fun and romance. At a price point that is ultimately affordable. Like this two piece that demands attention, but can also be mixed and matched.
